The 2008 UTMB School of Allied Health Sciences Distinguished Alumni Award
recipient is Mrs. Diane
Rath of San Antonio Texas. Diane is a 1975
graduate of the SAHS Physical Therapy program. She has been with the
Texas Workforce Commission for 12 years; the past 10 as Commissioner and
Chair. Her nomination for SAHS Distinguished Alumna came with the
endorsement of Governor Rick Perry.
Diane will march with the faculty at the August 15th
Commencement and enjoy Dr. Brent Masel’s keynote address as she considers
what her words of wisdom will be at the December commencement!
