Scholarships to Incoming students
Unless so stated by a
particular scholarship, there are no laws or statues that prohibit us from
awarding scholarships to incoming students.
In fact, where there is flexibility, you are encouraged to do so.
Recently
enacted House Bill 1641-Pertaining to Admissions and Scholarship Policies for
Graduate and Professional Programs.
Please
be advised that nothing in the bill prohibits consideration of GPA averages as
part of admissions decisions. There
is also nothing in the bill that prohibits the posting of a minimum expected
GPA.
ASAHP
Winter Meeting
Focused on Recruitment. 12 allied health professional associations made
presentations. All pointed out the
need for recruitment efforts and increased enrollment to manage the expected
shortage in manpower. The
presentations are all available at the ASAHP web site under the Winter Meeting
proceedings.
