Clinical and Translational Science Institute, ( R.Yost, PI) A Global Metabolomic Approach to Pediatric Neuro-Metabolomic Disorders. The goal of this pilot project is to identify plasma metabolic biomarkers for the pediatric diseases of autism spectrum disorders (ASD), Pyruvate Dehydrogenase (PDH) deficiency, and the effects of Ketogenic Therapy for Epilepsy (KTE) on human metabolomic patterns with the goal of identifying biomarkers and the affected metabolic pathways in these diseases and/or treatments. 2008-2009.
