To complete an assignment you should first read the corresponding chapter in the book. After this follow the assignment in the above table. Post your answers to the discussion group and check back into the discussion group periodically for updated information and reports. You are required to post responses to your classmates in order to promote discussion. Remember to post at least 20 comments in response to your classmates discussion items.

Accessing the Discussion Group
We will be using WebCT for our discussion groups this semester. Each of you will need Internet Access and access to your UTMB email account.

Final Project
A final project will be required for completion of this course. Your final project will either be a web based document or a PowerPoint presentation. You will design a presentation that will be a resource for a patient or caregiver in the community dealing with a certain respiratory illness or condition relating to the topics discussed during this class. Each topic must be cleared with the instructor.
